Amazon customers in the UK can continue to pay with Visa. Originally, the fees were too high for the online mail order company, but now both groups are talking about finding a joint solution.

The online giant Amazon Contrary to what has been announced, wants to continue to accept Visa credit cards as a means of payment in Great Britain.

Because of a dispute about fees that Amazon believes are too high, the online retailer announced in November that it would no longer accept cards from January 19. An agreement is now emerging.

“The expected change regarding the use of Visa credit cards on Amazon.co.uk will not take place on January 19,” an Amazon spokesman said on Monday. It is working closely with Visa to find a solution that will allow customers to continue using their cards. A Visa spokesman said customers could continue to use the company’s credit cards when shopping on Amazon “while we work closely to reach an agreement.” According to Amazon, foreign Visa cards were not affected by the dispute.
