Bayern have almost completed their transfer efforts. The goalkeeper Peretz will come, but probably not the six that coach Tuchel wanted so much. Something could still happen with Pavard and Stanisic.
It could well be that Germany Under-21 strikers Youssafa Moukoko and Jessic Ngankam got the new Bayern goalkeeper the job. When the German youth team only drew 1-1 against Israel at the U21 European Championship in June, Israeli goalkeeper Daniel Peretz saved Moukoko and Ngankam’s penalties. In retrospect, one has to admit that Sven Ulreich could have done it, but Peretz had had a good day. He did a lot for his reputation among goalkeeping experts. The 23-year-old is considered one of the best keepers in his age group – which could now be proven.
