FC Bayern Munich: Sven Ulreich suspected of corona – Bundesliga

Bayern trembles for Sven Ulreich (33)!

While Jamal Musiala (18) is already clear that he has been infected with the corona virus, the final result is still pending for the substitute keeper. According to BILD information, Ulreich (has full vaccination protection) also had an increased value in his corona test and was therefore absent from the team unit on Wednesday. Another test should now bring clarity.

Last week, “Ulle” was absent from team training on Wednesday and Thursday because of two cases of corona in the closest family circle – a precautionary measure. The next day the all clear. Ulreich tested negative and was back in the final training session before the game against Leipzig.

Now Ulreich is threatened with quarantine again – and Bayern the big goalkeeper alarm!

Since regular keeper Manuel Neuer (35) will be out for four to six weeks due to a meniscus operation in his right knee according to BILD information, Ulreich was scheduled to stand in for the next few games. If he is also missing, young goalkeeper Christian Früchtl (22/contract until 2023) would have to step in. The 1.93-meter keeper has been practicing with the pros for seven years, but has not yet played professionally!

In addition to Musiala and Ulreich, Benjamin Pavard (25) and Kingsley Coman (25) were absent from Bayern training.
