FC Bayern: “La Repubblica” reports – José Mourinho wants FCB reservist! – Bundesliga

He wants to stay, but does his club want that too?

Marc Roca (25) has not yet been able to gain a foothold at Bayern Munich.

Munich would probably not be averse to a sale, especially if Ryan Gravenberch (19) came from Ajax Amsterdam. And there are also well-known interested parties in the Spaniard.

AS Roma is said to have put out feelers for the defensive midfielder with star coach José Mourinho (59). This is reported by the Italian newspaper “La Repubblica”. Accordingly, there should even be an offer to Munich. Most recently, Roca has also been linked with Betis Sevilla.

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann spoke about Roca before the Freiburg game, saying: “The role is not what he wants it to be. He’s a good player who offers us good quality, but he has a lot of competition.” It was “also an issue between him and the club,” said the FCB coach, for whom Roca is “a proud Spaniard,” “the wants to play more.” Nagelsmann continues: “At the end of the season we will talk about whether that will happen to us or to another club.”

Roca himself recently emphasized how much he likes it in Munich. “I feel very comfortable and would like to be here for many more years,” he said in Bavaria’s members’ magazine “51”.

Roca switched from Espanyol Barcelona to the Isar in 2020 for nine million euros. So far he has only played 22 games for the record champions. He still has a contract until 2025.
