FC Barcelona: Sergio Agüero is missing for a long time after a heart examination
Sergio Agüero had to leave the field with chest pain against Alaves in the first half. After a heart examination, he now has to pause.
The Argentine international Sergio Agüero (33) has to pause for at least three months after his collapse in a game in the Spanish league. FC Barcelona announced this on Monday evening without giving an exact diagnosis.
Agüero is from Dr. Josep Brugada has been thoroughly examined and treated, Brugada is a renowned cardiologist and specialist in cardiac arrhythmias.
Agüero has to get out early against Alaves
“Agüero is not available to the team,” said FC Barcelona, ”in the next three months the effectiveness of the treatment will be assessed in order to determine his further recovery process.”
Agüero went down dazed a few moments after an aerial duel last Saturday in the game against Deportivo Alaves (1: 1) in the first half. He was treated for a few minutes and then led off the field. Immediately afterwards, the first heart examinations in the hospital followed. The striker moved from Manchester City to Barcelona last summer.
