FC Annecy is awaiting the result of the match between Bordeaux and Rodez, stopped by the aggression of Lucas Buades by a Bordeaux supporter. The LFP announced on Monday that the meeting was placed under investigation, postponing the verdict until June 12.
In a press release, FC Annecy supported the position it has held since the incidents, considering that Rodez wanted to take advantage of this situation. The club claims that Lucas Buades did not have a concussion, nor did he go to hospital.
Annecy therefore announces that in the event of relegation to National, the club would file a complaint with the public prosecutor, “for criminal acts of sports corruption and fraud”. In the event of a victory for Rodez over Bordeaux, the Annecy residents would be relegated to National.
