The Munich native has appeared on television around 150 times, mostly in smaller roles. Now she has died at the age of 81.

Television viewers know her face from countless crime dramas: the actress Christiane Blumhoff is dead. She died unexpectedly and of natural causes in Munich on Tuesday, her agency announced on Wednesday on behalf of the family. Blumhoff was 81 years old.

The Munich native made around 150 television appearances, mostly in smaller roles, including in the crime series “Derrick”, “Der Alte”, “Tatort”, “München Mord” and “The Strange Methods of Franz Josef Wanninger”. In the hometown series “Dahoam is Dahoam” she played the character of Helga Bamberger in 61 episodes. Blumhoff was also often seen in the “Komödienstadel”.
