The heart cinema series “Family Anders” about couples therapist Fabian Anders and his family, which is well worth seeing, will be continued. This was confirmed by ZDF.

The fans still have to be patient for a year, but at least: The charming two-part TV series “Family Anders”, which was broadcast on ZDF in March, will be continued. The broadcaster confirmed this on Tuesday when asked by spot on news. “From mid-August 2023, two more 90-minute films will be created with the well-known team in front of and behind the camera at the previous locations, directed by Sebastian Stern,” it said. The broadcast is scheduled for the first half of 2024.

The family of the Leipzig couple therapist Fabian Anders (Moritz Treuenfels, 34) is the focus of the funny, entertaining and technically well-researched films. It’s about your own marital problems with Paula (Bettina Burchard, 36), the separation, the nest model for the children, surrogate grandparents, new partners, patchwork…

Real couples on the couch – who are the new guest stars?

In addition to this horizontal story, Fabian Anders treats a couple in each episode that is played by a real acting couple. In the opening episode “Welcome to the Nest” (March 12), Tom and Tess Scharper, played by Gisa Flake (37) and Knud Riepen (born 1981), sought his advice. In the second episode “Two are one too many” (March 19, 8:15 p.m., ZDF) it was Rebecca Renner and Mario Kortner. They are embodied by Bettina Zimmermann (48) and Kai Wiesinger (57).

Of course, the question of which real couples will be in the next two episodes is also exciting. But there is nothing concrete to report yet, because “the prominent guest couples have not yet been determined”.

The two opening films are until March 2024 in the ZDF media library accessible.
