Between October 2021 and January 2023, this Toulouse resident, now 25 years old, convinced 13 young people – boys in their twenties – to entrust him with their savings by promising them juicy profits.
The victims paid him between 1,000 and 7,000 euros, depending on their means, allowing him to amass 42,000 euros in total, without anyone recovering a single cent.

The scam ended this Tuesday, after investigators from the General and Financial Affairs Unit of Toulouse Urban Security synthesized the various complaints which described the same operating mode. Arrested at his home, the fake pilot, “self-employed” in real life, admitted the facts in police custody. He will be tried on February 13, 2024 before the Toulouse criminal court.
