Mayoral election in Fahrenzhausen: Three candidates stood for election as mayor in the Fahrenzhausen town hall: Günter Fuchs (CSU), Susanne Hartmann (FWE) and Alexandra Karl (Greens).

The Greens candidate received 37.85 percent of the votes in the mayoral election in Fahrenzhausen, putting her well ahead of the FWE candidate, who got 31.43 percent. Just behind is Günter Fuchs (CSU) with 30.73 percent. Voter turnout is 53.67 percent.

In the mayoral elections in Fahrenzhausen on Sunday, September 25, none of the three candidates achieved an absolute majority of 50 percent according to the preliminary results. Günter Fuchs (CSU) reached 30.73 percent, Susanne Hartmann (FWE) 31.43 and Alexandra Karl (Greens) 37.85 percent. This means that on Sunday, October 9, Alexandra Karl and Susanne Hartmann will be in the runoff.
