Finally the end of nuisance calls? The deputies adopted a bill to prohibit the commercial canvassing of a personal training account holder, thus hoping to dry up the flow of solicitations suffered by individuals.
Adopted at first reading unanimously by the 73 voters, the text aims to prohibit “any commercial prospecting of holders of a personal training account” (CPF), “by telephone, e-mail” or via social networks, to protect their personal data, but also their training credits.
“Depollute illegal practices”
Any breach would be liable to a fine of up to “75,000 euros for a natural person” and “375,000 euros for a legal person”. The text is not intended to “prohibit companies from promoting their training, insisted Bruno Fuchs, deputy of the MoDem group rapporteur of the text. It is a question of returning to the fundamentals: it is the account holder who decides on his training and who makes the decision to contact an organization. »
“I am very happy to support this law [pour] clean up illegal practices that tarnish the image of the CPF”, declared Carole Grandjean, Minister Delegate in charge of Vocational Education and Training. However, she stressed that the text did not prohibit all canvassing of training organizations, but those that clearly mention the eligibility of training via the CPF.
