Exhibition “Existentialism” in the Nuremberg Congress Hall – Bavaria

The exhibition “Existentialism” in the Nuremberg Congress Hall tells of the burden of the past, but also shows how one could deal with the non-place in the future.

There is this property in the south of Nuremberg that is and remains a problem no matter what you do with it: the congress hall on the former Nazi party rally grounds, a coliseum at the Zehnteich, left unfinished by the Nazis, used by post-war Nuremberg as an excellent documentation center and yet largely still lying fallow. At the edges of the museum are the halls that constantly breathe out the questions: Could you go here, should you go there…? Or better yet, not?
