The Rolling Stones are touring Europe again. It has not yet been decided which songs the band will play. That’s a tricky thing, says Mick Jagger.

Fans of the Rolling Stones shouldn’t necessarily rely on the legendary classics during the concerts of their music idols’ European tour in summer.

Lead singer Mick Jagger told radio station SWR3 that he is still working on the set list for the performances and likes to surprise his fans. There have also been concerts without rock songs like “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”.

A setlist is a tricky thing, revealed Jagger. “You need the widest possible selection of songs in rehearsals so that you don’t have to play the same songs every night,” said the 78-year-old. “Also so that the band doesn’t get bored.” In addition, the song sequence must have a flow. “You can’t keep going back and forth between fast and slow numbers during those two hours on stage,” said Jagger. “The whole thing has to flow.”

Among the 14 shows of the “Sixty” tour in the summer, two concerts are also planned in Germany from June. On June 5th, Jagger and Co. will perform in the Olympic Stadium in Munich, on July 27th in the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
