The European Football Championship will start in Germany in June 2024. For fans looking to purchase tickets, October 3rd is an important date.
June 14, 2024 is marked red in the calendar for many football fans. Because then the opening game of the European Football Championships in Germany. But how do those interested get tickets for the games, which will take place in ten German cities?
Starting shot on October 3rd
“On October 3rd we not only celebrate German Unity Day, but also the start of the ticket application phase,” it says on the website the UEFA. The general public can now apply for tickets to specific games. “But don’t rush, the tickets will only be allocated by lottery once the application phase has ended.”
The application phase begins on Tuesday, October 3rd at 2 p.m. (Central European Time). An account on the site can also be created in advance. Once launched, fans will be able to apply for specific venues and dates. The cheapest tickets should be available for 30 euros, with prices increasing as the tournament progresses (finals start at 95 euros). Users can apply for four standard tickets per game. The application period for tickets ends on Thursday, October 26th at 2 p.m. (CEST).
The “Uefa Euro 2024” will take place from June 14th to July 14th, 2024. Ten cities will be the venues, including Munich (including the opening game), Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Stuttgart, Berlin (including the final).
