Ethereum’s latest major Dencun upgrade went live on the Sepolia testnet on Tuesday. There is only one testnet left. Before the feature “proto-danksharding” expected to be deployed on future mainnets

Ethereum core developers deployed the Dencun upgrade on the Goerli testnet earlier this month. The third and final testnet upgrade on Holesky is scheduled for February 7th, after which the Ethereum team expects to set a mainnet launch date for Dencun.
One feature that Dencun is expected to bring is proto-danksharding This aims to reduce gas fees and improve scalability. By introducing a new compressed storage mechanism called “blobs”
