Ethereum developer agreeFeb. 28 was chosen as the target of the Sepolia test network (testnet), ahead of the upcoming upgrade of Shanghai, the blockchain’s upcoming massive move, to allow withdrawals of staked ether (ETH).
Sepolia, a closed test network for Ethereum developers only, will be the second network to be upgraded. Earlier this week, the Zhejiang testnet successfully completed a simulated withdrawal of staked ETH, with one more testnet slated to be upgraded. The Shanghai hard fork will then take place on the Ethereum blockchain mainnet. next month
After Sepolia passes the test, the next test network is Goerli, it will be the last test network upgraded to Shanghai and is the most anticipated test. Because it is the largest public Ethereum testing network. And it is the last chance for staking providers to ensure ETH withdrawals work well before they reach mainnet.
