All of David Bowie’s work is now with the Warner Music Group. It’s a multi-million dollar deal.

The US music publisher Warner Chappell Music has bought the worldwide rights to the entire work of British pop legend David Bowie, who died in 2016. It is reportedly a $ 250 million deal.

“We are really pleased that David Bowie’s musical work is now in the capable hands of Warner Chappell Music Publishing,” said Allen Grubman, attorney in charge of estate administration, according to the BBC.

The rights to the recordings of his music since 1968 were already held by the Warner Music label. The BBC quoted a message from the group on Monday that the entire work of the artist is now at home with the Warner Music Group. Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Paul Simon had recently made headlines with multi-million dollar deals on the rights to their works.
