After a night taxi ride from Erlangen to Bayreuth, a young man threatened and robbed the driver with a gun. The 54-year-old taxi driver handed his income to the robber on the outskirts of Bayreuth.
The unknown perpetrator fled early Tuesday morning, the police said. Several patrols, two search dogs and a police helicopter searched for the man without success. The perpetrator has been described as 25 to 30 years old.
