Energy: That is Habeck’s concept for cheap industrial electricity – economy

The economy, trade unions and SPD have been increasing the pressure for weeks – now Robert Habeck has delivered: On Friday the Federal Minister of Economics presented a two-stage concept with which he wants to ensure that energy-intensive companies can buy cheap electricity in the short, medium and long term and thus have no reason to relocate factories abroad because of the high energy prices in Germany. “Germany’s prosperity is also based on its strong industrial base, and we will also need this strong base in the future. We must therefore set the right course now,” emphasized Habeck.
