The young man had only received his driver’s license a week and a half earlier, but that didn’t stop an 18-year-old from the Rosenheim district from driving under the influence of alcohol. This was noticed on Saturday evening around 11 p.m. during a traffic check in the community area of Emmering. The breath alcohol test showed a value of 0.32 per thousand. Since there is a general ban on alcohol at the wheel for novice drivers and the person concerned had only just received his driver’s license, a fine procedure was initiated, according to the police. This means a fine of 250 euros plus fees and a point in the register of traffic offenders in Flensburg.
