The French president “will recall the importance of continuing to reduce our dependencies in the areas of security and defense, energy, health, artificial intelligence and food in particular,” said the Elysée. The heads of state and government “will also discuss the means of action of the European Union to achieve these objectives”, it was added.
Before the dinner, Emmanuel Macron will meet with Charles Michel to prepare the European Council on December 14 and 15, and with the new Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden, at the head of a conservative-liberal coalition government.
