Tours of France. Emmanuel Macron goes to Pau, to meet readers selected by the newspapers South West and The Republic of the Pyrenees, in the presence of François Bayrou, mayor of Pau and president of the MoDem, faithful ally of the Head of State. Anne Hidalgo will be in Orléans, Nathalie Arthaud in Bordeaux, Eric Zemmour in Metz. Valérie Pécresse goes to Nîmes, then to La Grande-Motte (Hérault), before an evening meeting in Toulouse.
Justice. The same Valérie Pécresse will see the case between her and Ian Brossat heard by the Paris court. She had filed a defamation suit against the deputy mayor of the capital – also campaign manager for communist candidate Fabien Roussel – for a 2018 tweet in which he accused her of homophobia.
