An eleven-year-old and a 68-year-old are dead and another woman is seriously injured. A 70-year-old was found seriously injured in another apartment. They all belong to one family. It is still unclear what happened.

An eleven year old girl and a 68 year old Woman were found dead in a house in Berlin-Köpenick. That is what the police said. A 42-year-old woman was found seriously injured in the building on Kinzerallee that morning. Another family member – a 70-year-old man – was also found seriously injured in another house on Gelnitzstrasse, it was said.

The homicide squad is investigating suspected homicide, said the police spokesman. It will also be checked whether the event is related to suicide.

He initially did not provide any further details, such as the specific family relationships of those killed and injured. The background to the crime is the subject of the investigation, it said. The police were alerted by a witness at around 9 a.m. on Monday, said the police spokesman.

According to a report by the “BZ”, there should have been a possible accident in the building on Gelnitzstrasse. Police and rescue workers had to open the apartment and found a seriously injured man there. He was taken to the hospital. During the course of the investigation, the police came across the apartment on Kinzerallee, according to “BZ”. There the girl and the 68-year-old were found dead and the 42-year-old was found seriously injured.
