Actor Julian Sands missing since January

Where is Julian Sands? The actor had not returned from a hike. Helicopters and drones were also used to search for him.
Five months after the disappearance of British actor Julian Sands (“Room with a View”) on a hike in California, the search for the 65-year-old continues. As the sheriff’s office in the San Bernardino district announced, more than 80 helpers were deployed in the region over the weekend.
The search party was supported by helicopters and drones. Unfortunately, no clues were found as to Sands’ whereabouts. This was the eighth search operation since the missing persons report was received.
Sands left for a trip to the Mount Baldy area northeast of Los Angeles on January 13 and has not returned. The actor, a keen mountain hiker according to media reports, lived near Hollywood.
Mount Baldy is part of the San Gabriel mountain range and is almost 3070 meters high. The sheriff’s office issued a warning in January against hiking the mountain due to dangerous weather conditions with ice and snow. Parts of the mountain are still covered by snow, the authority said.
In his decades-long career, Sands has appeared in numerous films and series, in addition to “A Room With a View”, such as “Naked Lunch”, “The Killing Fields”, “Leaving Las Vegas”, “Arachnophobia”, “Smallville “, “24” and most recently “What/If”.
