One might think that tech billionaire Elon Musk has made it his mission to cause a lot of confusion with his tweets. Now the Tesla boss is apparently bothered by a message from the Berlin techno club Berghain.

A message of peace on the facade of Berlin’s famous techno club Berghain has caught the attention of billionaire Elon Musk. “At Berghain they wrote PEACE on the wall! I refused to go in,” tweeted the founder of electric car manufacturer Tesla early Sunday morning.

He later followed up, writing, “Peace? I hate the word. Those who care about peace (including me) don’t need to hear this. And those who don’t care about peace? Well…”

The “hardest door in Berlin”

The “Peace” lettering has been emblazoned on the facade of the club building, a former combined heat and power plant from GDR times, since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine. Several media outlets in Berlin speculated whether Musk actually took offense – or whether he might have been denied entry.

The Berghain is said to have “the hardest door in Berlin” – many people who want to party fail because of the bouncers, according to media reports, celebrities too. In a ranking by “DJ Magazine”, Berghain – notorious for its sexually extravagant club nights – has been listed among the world’s best clubs for years.

Musk opened his Tesla factory in Grünheide near Berlin on March 22, 2022. About a week ago – on March 28th – he let the Twitter community know that he had probably been infected with the corona virus again. But he is almost symptom-free.
