It’s a bit like the Caesar of politics. The “qualities” of the head of government were noticed by the jury of the 2022 Trombinoscope Prize. This professional directory of the political sphere, which awards a prize each year for outstanding political figures of the past year, elected for the Last year Elisabeth Borne, announced the professional directory of the political world which awards this award.
“At the head of the government, but above all as head of a very relative majority, Elisabeth Borne quickly deployed the qualities that we guessed, but with a resistance that we hardly suspected”, explains a press release from the jury. Elisabeth Borne succeeds LR presidential candidate and president of the Ile-de-France region Valérie Pécresse, who received this prize in 2021, and PS mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, winner in 2020.
Fabien Roussel, “political revelation”
After Sandrine Rousseau in 2021, the prize for “political revelation of the year 2022” is awarded to PCF boss Fabien Roussel. The Minister Delegate for Public Accounts Gabriel Attal receives the prize for “Minister of the Year”, and the President of the Renaissance group Aurore Bergé that of “Deputy of the Year 2022”.
The “Senators of the year” are Eliane Assassi (CRCE with a communist majority) and Arnaud Bazin (LR), and the prize for “local elected official of the year” goes to the LR mayor of Cannes and president of the Association mayors of France (AMF), David Lisnard. As for the “European of the Year 2022”, the prize goes to Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
