Former US Vice President Pence visits Ukraine

With his visit, former US Vice President Mike Pence is showing solidarity. But he also underlines that he is entering the competition for the presidential candidacy in the USA.

The former US Vice President agreed to a visit to Ukraine Mike Pence clearly on the side of the attacked country. Pence was ex-President Donald Trump’s deputy in the White House from 2017 to 2021. In the race for the presidential candidacy, he is now challenging his former boss – both want to run for the Republicans in the presidential election in November next year. Trump is well ahead of other Republican candidates in the polls.
