In my daughter’s day care center, 6, they discussed the subject of the body and the private sphere. The girls were advised to always wear shorts or leggings under their skirts so that their underpants are not visible when, for example, they are doing gymnastics on the monkey bars. Somehow I don’t think that’s right. Why should you wear extra pants in hot temperatures? Because the boys could watch or the educators? Or is that all just right?
