Education: help, the children hate our garden – what to do? – Company

The parents love their allotment garden, the offspring find it boring. But isn’t it important to bring the children closer to nature?

We have a beautiful, natural allotment garden full of trees, hammocks and hiding places. My daughters (6 and 11) don’t like it. They prefer to stay at home, want to watch TV and occasionally go to the playground across the street. They have their own beds, they wanted them, but they don’t take care of them. When a bee comes, they screech. How do I introduce them to the garden? It’s important for them to develop an understanding of the environment, isn’t it?
