Echinger dialogue: The bitter life of women in Iran – Freising

These are the biggest protests that Iran has experienced since the Islamic Revolution almost 44 years ago: courageous women burn their headscarves, take to the streets and fight against the power of the mullahs, whose constraints and rules they no longer want to bow to. Violence, imprisonment, torture or death are the consequences. But the women refuse to be defeated and continue to protest. Because the Internet is switched off, hardly any news gets out. It’s events like the Echinger Dialogue that keep the topic alive in Germany.
