Ebersberg: Qualification for day care workers – Ebersberg

Experiencing and encouraging young children to develop is a fulfilling, important but also a demanding task. For everyone who would like to learn how to deal with the youngsters correctly, the Kreisbildungswerk (KBW), in cooperation with the Ebersberg Youth Welfare Office, is now offering an in-service qualification to become a childminder. Day mothers look after up to five children in their own household. The advanced training that is now being offered includes 160 teaching units that take place in the evenings and on weekends in the KBW Ebersberg office, some in online format. The qualification is completed with the federal certificate for child day care.

Qualification starts on Friday, February 4th. A prerequisite for registering for a course is a personal suitability and information interview with the specialist counseling service at the Ebersberg Youth Welfare Office, Manuela Käsbohrer, available at (08092) 823 504 or [email protected]. Once you have received the written confirmation from the specialist counseling service at the youth welfare office, you can register with the KBW at (08092) 850790 or [email protected]. The individual dates of the teaching units are on the KBW homepage at www.kbw-erbersberg.de to find. The cost of the entire training is 980 euros, payable in four installments. There is the possibility of a subsidy from the district youth welfare office. If you have any questions, course leader Bernadette Althoff is available at (08092) 85079-16 or [email protected].
