Ebersberg, Grafing and Hohenlinden: EUR 630,000 in urban development funding – Ebersberg

Ebersberg, Grafing and Hohenlinden will receive a total of 630,000 euros this year from the federal and state urban development funding program 2022. The funding amount has more than tripled compared to the previous year’s funding – at that time it was 180,000 euros. This was announced by Thomas Huber, member of the state parliament, and Andreas Lenz, member of the Bundestag (both CSU), on Thursday.

Ebersberg receives 90,000 euros from the “Living Centers” program for the continuation of the renovation of the old town. For example, climate adaptation measures in the city garden and measures for more accessibility at the monastery building yard are to be carried out. In Grafing, too, the continuation of the renovation of the old town is subsidised. The city receives 240,000 euros from the “Social Cohesion” program, with which the development of the integrated urban planning concept is to be continued. A particular focus here is the construction of an underground car park on Hans-Eham-Platz. The municipality of Hohenlinden will receive 300,000 euros for the redesign of the through road. Funding from the “Social Cohesion” program will support the implementation of the second construction phase.
