STORY: The beginning of the Easter holidays is coming up in many federal states. After a long time it will be the case again that there will be almost no corona-related travel restrictions. So for many it was finally time to go on vacation. But keep your eyes open and be careful, because many people have this wish. Therefore, ADAC press spokeswoman Melanie Mikulla advises all people who want to jet off by car to plan their journey well: “The classic travel routes are of course affected. That means that if you drive south, you have to take the A8, the A9 towards Austria or Italy, it will definitely be full there, of course up to the coasts, these routes will also be affected, on the A1. The A7 is always affected anyway, because it goes right through Germany, so you have to be prepared for it . Those are the highways.” It is also important to always have enough provisions on board in case there are long traffic jams. And petrol prices are also causing worry lines on the foreheads of many motorists. The ADAC spokeswoman advises on this topic not to fill up in the morning, but rather in the evening hours. Or you might even switch to the train straight away.
