Between the stands of the automotive industry, the other exhibitors on the “IAA Mobility 2023” exhibition center are almost a little lost. But if you look closely, you will find them, the representatives of so-called micro-mobility with their e-bikes, cargo bikes and e-scooters. After all, the auto show has the extra mobility in the name. Unlike two years ago, however, there is no separate area for two-wheelers this year; instead, micro-mobility is integrated into the general trade fair activities. Visitors can climb out of a car directly onto the saddle of a pedelec and may not even notice that they have just switched industries.
