Dying Light 2: 20 to 500 hours

“Dying Light 2” can keep you busy for 500 hours. But that doesn’t mean that you have to spend that long studying the Techland title to see the campaign end. The developers ensured clarity again.

A statement by the developer Techland caused plenty of talk last weekend. So the studio pointed out that “Dying Light 2” should be yours Can employ 500 hours. A little later it became clear that this statement had to be explained in more detail again, as not a few players feared that the open world title, which confronts you with voracious creatures, would be unnecessarily and painfully stretched.

According to Techland, it will take the 500 hours to complete the game in full. This does not mean the one-time march through the campaign, but the experience of all content, which includes all endings, dialog options and similar content. It will take “less than 100 hours” to complete the main story and all side quests.

20 hours for the campaign

In a further tweet, the development team added one more time and emphasized that the main story takes about 20 hours, which can roughly be compared with the predecessor. Completing the main story and all side quests will take you about 80 hours. However, the 500 hour mark to experience it all remains. “Dying Light 2: Stay Human is designed for players with different play styles and preferences to explore the world as they see fit,” said the tweet.

Absolutely precise playing times cannot of course be given, as the approach is different for each player. But at least there seems to be enough content to keep buyers busy for a long period of time.

“Dying Light 2” will be launched on February 4, 2022 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. Before that you can check out the final episode of “Dying 2 Know” look at. It will be released on January 13, 2022.
