DYDX Decentralized Trading Platform It said Wednesday that it will launch a public testnet of its Cosmos-based blockchain next week.

The DYDX Chain, built into the Cosmos ecosystem, has completed Milestone 4 and has more than 40 validators running the platform’s software. The test network is scheduled to launch at 1:00 PM ET (17:00 UTC) on July 5, according to the platform on Twitter.
Some of the functions to be tested at launch include wallet connection, order book viewing, market order placing, and account information viewing.
At launch, the Public Testnet network will only work with Bitcoin and Ethereum markets, but DYDX plans to include more than 30 markets via future network upgrades.
DYDX launched a private test network in March. To work with a small number of external validators to test the functionality provided by DYDX. writeIn a blog post saying It aims for a mainnet launch that will complete Milestone 5 this September.
