At the fairytale wedding between Ludwig Prince of Bavaria (40) and his Sophie-Alexandra (33) in Munich, a brief moment of shock is said to have happened. How among other things “Picture”the “tz” and the “Munich Mercury” report that shortly after saying yes in front of around 1,000 guests in the Theatinerkirche, the bride suffered a fainting spell.

A spokesman for the Wittelsbach administration confirmed the incident to “Bild”, but after a short break and a drink, the 33-year-old was well again. Shortly thereafter, she left the church at the side of her newly wed husband, beaming with joy. Sophie-Alexandra Evekink and the great-great-grandson of the last Bavarian king, Ludwig III. said yes on this Saturday morning (May 20), around five months after the civil wedding. They were married by Archbishop Cardinal Marx (69), and the wedding guests included the Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder (56).
