Will she accompany Harry to the Invictus Games?

Prince Harry is expected to attend the Invictus Games in person. According to a media report, Duchess Meghan will accompany him.
The Invictus Games have always been an affair of the heart for Prince Harry (37). Therefore, the California-based royal is expected to attend the sporting event for war-disabled soldiers next week in The Hague, Netherlands. And his wife, Duchess Meghan (40), will also be there, as the British tabloid “Daily Mirror” claims.
It would be Meghan’s first visit to Europe since the two stepped down as senior royals in early 2020. It is not known whether their young children – son Archie (2) and daughter Lilibet, who was born in June 2021 – could be there. The couple should therefore be accompanied by a camera team from Netflix. Arrival is scheduled for Friday.
Opening ceremony with Harry and Meghan?
After the games had to be postponed several times due to the corona pandemic, they are supposed to start on April 16th. Insiders promised “a big surprise” for the opening. Accordingly, it could be the case that Meghan will take the stage with Harry at an opening ceremony. An anonymous source has stated that Meghan is already looking forward to the event.
The games also have a special meaning for the relationship between Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. The two celebrated their first official appearance as a couple at the third Invictus Games in Canada in 2017.
In autumn 2020 it was announced that Harry and Meghan had landed a mega deal with the streaming giant Netflix with their previously founded production company Archewell Productions. The documentary series “Heart of Invictus” was announced as the first project in April 2021. Among other things, the format is intended to accompany several participants and the organizers in their preparations for the event.
The next edition of the Invictus Games, created by Prince Harry, is already firmly planned. The sixth games are scheduled for September 9-16, 2023 take place in Düsseldorf.
