Unfulfilled Christmas wish? Duchess Meghan will probably have to disappoint her son Archie.

Duchess Meghan (42) can actually deny her son Prince Archie (4) a Christmas wish. At least that’s what she recently said during a Q&A session she moderated for Netflix. After a special screening of the short film “The After”, the American spoke to the film’s star, David Oyelowo (47), and the director Misan Harriman (46).

Photographer as a role model

The latter in particular seems to have made a lasting impression on little Archie. Like his mother according to People magazinethe four-year-old takes his cue from Harriman, whom he met as a photographer after he was responsible for some of the portraits of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“The inspiration runs deep,” Meghan said. “The last time Misan was with us, he showed him how to take photos, and I bought Archie a camera, but he said, ‘But it’s not a Leica like Misan has,'” she continued, laughing. “I said: ‘You won’t get a Leica. Not even for Christmas,'” Meghan claims to have answered her son about the expensive cameras. She then continued to joke to Harriman: “So thank you for the inspiration all the way.”

The conversation took place on November 15th at a private residence in Montecito, California. Meghan also lives there with her husband Prince Harry (39) and their two children Archie and Princess Lilibet (2).
