Two young women, director Selen Kara and dramaturge Christina Zintl, have set out to reorganize the Essen theater as dual leaders. And by the third premiere at the latest, they have reached an artistic level that Essen can almost envy. The evening is called “Rausch”, it is based on the great Thomas Vinterberg film of the same name, and it literally vibrates with the desire for excessive spectacle, for crazy ideas, for sensual power.
