Shock and astonishment in the village

There was astonishment this Sunday in the town of 550 inhabitants. The mayor of Crépol Martine Lagut is in shock: “I feel depressed because it’s not normal for things like this to happen in our small rural villages. It’s a tragedy that we’re experiencing, our village is really affected by this event. It’s a shame. gratuitous violence, it was very brutal and very violent”.

Residents talk about a group coming from the Monnaie district in Romans-sur-Isère. What would these young people have come to do in the village? Were the blows given to the deceased young man intended to kill? The investigation is open for intentional homicide and attempted homicide, said the Public Prosecutor of Valence Laurent de Caigny. The research section of the Grenoble gendarmerie was responsible for the investigation.
