Driving report BMW M2: The last of its kind – Auto & Mobil

The best-selling BMW M model? Incorrect. Not the M3 or M4 are in pole position, but the M2, which is a good 20 centimeters shorter. An exterior length of 4.58 meters is enough to accommodate everything that fans love about such a sports coupé: in-line six-cylinder, manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. Nobody has to complain about a lack of performance either: 338 kW/460 hp meet an unladen weight of 1700 kilograms. That’s 90 hp more than its predecessor: enough to make BMW(M) history one of the last of its kind.
