Driving report BMW i7: competition for Mercedes EQS – Auto & Mobil

The new BMW i7 ruthlessly sums up the weaknesses of the Mercedes EQS: instead of ducking under the wind, it offers a luxury-class rear compartment. The two most comfortable German electric cars in comparison.

It’s expensive, big and heavy anyway, an imposing appearance, packed with technical finesse and every imaginable comfort, coming down to the depth of the nine-level massage seats. BMW’s latest e-model doesn’t want to save the world, but to be as perfect a chauffeur-driven vehicle as possible – and overthrow Mercedes from the self-erected pedestal. The Stuttgart-based company presented the EQS as the “world’s first all-electric luxury sedan”. But the competitor from Munich is already preparing for the change in leadership.
