Driver caught twice under the influence of drugs – Bavaria

A 31-year-old man was caught driving under the influence of drugs in Upper Franconia twice on the same day. The man had to go to the hospital twice for blood tests, the police said. A urine test during the first check in a parking lot near Gefrees (Bayreuth district) showed evidence of cannabis consumption in the man from Berlin. Officials took him to the hospital to have his blood drawn and prohibited him from driving for 24 hours. Three hours later, another patrol checked the car, the 31-year-old was behind the wheel again, the police reported. In order to prevent him from further driving under the influence of drugs, the officers secured the car with a steering wheel claw. The man must now reckon with several ads and a driving ban.
