Analysis of his phone indicates that he has been in possession of 149 child pornography photos and 19 equally shocking videos over the past three months. A 29-year-old man, residing in the Papus district, in Toulouse, has just been arrested by investigators from the family protection brigade. The suspicious activities of this suspect were first spotted in 2021 by specialists from the Central Office for the Suppression of Violence against Persons. (OCRVP). This first report concerned eight illegal files and the IP address of a computer which was “limited” in Toulouse.
The investigation ultimately directed suspicion not to the owner of the computer but to his roommate. This man, employee and already known to the police for business of another nature, was brought before a magistrate of the prosecution. The latter notified him of an appearance date “shortly”, giving investigators time to complete the investigations launched on his computer.
