FC Bayern has bagged its next summer transfer. According to consistent media reports, top French talent Mathys Tel is moving from Stade Rennes to the German record champions. The Munich pay almost 30 million euros for the offensive player.
The change from Mathys Tel to FC Bayern has already been indicated in the past few days, and as of today it is (apparently) perfect. As several French and German media reported unanimously on Saturday evening, Stade Rennes and Munich have agreed on a transfer of the 17-year-old.

According to information from “L’Equipe”, Munich paid almost 30 million euros for the offensive player. The French U18 national player has received a 5-year contract with FC Bayern until 2027.
Tel should complete the medical check in Munich in a timely manner
The “Sky”, “SPORT1” and “BILD” have now confirmed the deal. As Kerry Hau from “SPORT1” reports, the transfer fee can increase to 28.5 million euros in the next few years through “performance-related bonus payments”. It is interesting: Rennes should collect a fixed fee of 20 million euros, but Bayern will not pay the full amount themselves. Reason: The player’s management has agreed to pay part of the fee. This made the deal possible in the first place.
According to “SPORT1” information, Tel should complete the obligatory medical check-up in Munich this weekend. Bayern see the youngster as one of the greatest storm talents in Europe. Tel should train with Julian Nagelsmann’s professionals from the start and receive regular minutes of play.
After hard negotiations, Rennes will now receive €20m. for Mathys Tel. Notable: The player’s management paid a part of this fee to make the deal possible! The amount can grow to up to €28.5 million. in the next few years. Many clubs wanted Tel, but Tel only wanted Bayern. @SPORT1
