When it comes to the female cycle, Kate Clancy is instantly wide awake. The anthropologist from the University of Illinois researches how stress and environmental influences affect the menstrual cycle in women. It made sense that Clancy noticed how heavy her own menstruation was after the corona vaccination. “It pours out of me like I’m in my 20s again”, she wrote on Twitter in February and asked how other women had fared. Since then, women have repeatedly said that the corona vaccination had affected their menstruation. Some have noticed more bleeding, others a postponed cycle. Some menopausal women suddenly menstruated again.
