The blue ballpoint pen is already lying on a stack of files. The last week of vacation has begun and Kerstin Schreyer has just returned from vacation to her constituency office. This August was different for the CSU politician than the summers of previous years: the trip was longer, the time-out was more real, the files were more manageable. After all, the woman from Unterhaching hasn’t been a minister for a few months. But that doesn’t mean that someone like her is taking things slowly now. The appointment calendar is still full, the mission printed in white letters on the CSU pen: “Kerstin Schreyer, MdL back in the state parliament”.
