District of Munich: Free voters want to set bus lines – district of Munich

The Free Voters consider a number of bus lines in the district of Munich to be dispensable and are calling for them to be discontinued. During a tour of the Würmtal with their candidates for the state parliament, Deputy District Administrator Otto Bußjäger spoke of “ghost buses”. State parliament candidate Johannes Seitner from Grasbrunn said: “Some so-called express buses do nothing.” The Gräfelfingen FW district councilor Florian Ernstberger called for “finally an evaluation of the passengers” to clarify: “Who uses the buses at all?” Bussjäger went even further and said that the district “must have the courage to set a line”. At the same time, the district politician from Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn was open to “autonomous driving systems”, and he could also imagine cable cars.

With a view to the state elections, the FW politicians Bußjäger and Seitner, together with Michael Ammer from the Young Free Voters, visited Planegg on a tour of the Munich-Land Süd constituency to find out more about topics in the Würmtal valley. In the SV Planegg restaurant, they met Florian Zeller, spokesman for the local Free Voters, and his colleague Ernstberger in Graefelfing to exchange views.

Among other things, it was about the current dispute between Planegg and Gräfelfing about a possible huge geothermal storage facility on the site of the gravel company Glück, which the Bußjäger and Seitner commented with glee: “It’s remarkable that two CSU mayors are at loggerheads,” both said. Zeller expressed the impression “that the two are being played off against each other” and sees the Green Group 21 at work in the Planegger municipal council.

FW politicians see support for wind turbines in the population

The Free Voters give priority to the expansion of geothermal energy in the Würmtal: “That will also be the most important issue in Planegg in the next few years,” said Zeller. Penance hunters pleaded for the construction of wind turbines, but sees problems “in capitalization”. Zeller and Ernstberger see great support for both issues in the population of the Würmtal: “The people of Würmtal want sustainability,” said Zeller. There was marginal criticism of the FW state chairman and deputy Bavarian Prime Minister Hubert Aiwanger in Planegg. Although his competence is undisputed, said one participant in the round: “The youth, however, cannot place the man.”
