The district office reported five more deaths related to the corona virus on Friday. There are four men in their early 70s to mid-90s and one woman in their early 90s. All died in a hospital. Most of the time, previous illnesses were known. The total number of coronavirus deaths in the Munich district has increased to 336 since the beginning of the pandemic. The seven-day incidence in the Munich district has increased since New Year’s Day, when the Robert Koch Institute reported a value of 177.9 , clearly increased. On Friday it took the 300 mark and stood at 306.3. In the Munich region are also the district of Ebersberg, which is scratching the 400 threshold with an incidence of 399.7, as well as the city of Munich with 305.8 over 300.
